MUDC Club Events

MUDC holds several events over the year. Below is a brief description of the goings on for the main events which we host during semester. MUDC members are able to purchase tickets to these events at a discount. For details on upcoming events, click here. Past events can be viewed here.

Dance Socials

MUDC dance socials are a great opportunity to meet other dance-loving people. Dance socials will have a central dance style (Argentine Tango Social, Swing Social) and will usually begin with a one hour lesson on the style. After that, it'll be social dancing until late at night. 

Dinner Dance

Dinner Dance is an annual conjoint event with Monash Dance Sport (MDS). Dinner Dance is a celebration of the entire year and serves as a break from exam studying. The night is filled with dance performances, food, medal presentations, and social dancing. 

Showcase

The annual Showcase gives MUDC members the opportunity to show off what they've learnt throughout the whole year. There will also be guest performances from other university dance clubs or external dance organisations. 

Intervarsity

Intervarsity is an annual dance-sport competition between MDS and MUDC. There are a variety of dance styles and levels within the competition. Points are awarded for the club with the most entries so we encourage everyone to join in the fun!
