​The MUDC committee is a great way to meet friends and get more involved in the club. Please see below for information regarding current vacant positions in the MUDC committee. Vacant Positions:

Secretary 

Performance Coordinator

​The Secretary is responsible for overseeing most of the club's communication and timetabling. 

Key responsibilities include:
  • Keep accurate minutes of all General Meetings and Meetings of the Committeee
  • Organise committee communication/meetings
  • Contact/hire teachers & be their point of contact for the semester
  • Organise class & supervision timetable
  • Book rooms for classes and events
  • Create weekly class announcements
  • Organise the AGM
  • Update MU Sport with the information they require
 
Time commitment: medium and constant


The Performance coordinators are responsible for organising MUDC’s performance team. MUDC has 2 Performance Coordinators, however this vacancy is for one position. It is a fun and flexible role which can be as creative as you like. If you would like to create new performance routines – go for it. If not, we have existing routines which you can use.
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Plan performances for the year (O-Week, Showcase and other events)
  • Supervise performance team practice times
  • Keep a look out for any opportunities for members to perform

​Time commitment: medium before O-Week, large before showcase, and small during semester.

IT Officer​

Events Coordinators x2

The IT Officer is responsible for keeping MUDC’s website up to date and helping the treasurer with Square (our payment system). If you are undertaking study in IT, this could be a great addition to your resume.
​
Key responsibilities include:
  • Update the website with committee members, timetabling information, and any upcoming events.
  • Help the Treasurer with Square
  • Help with any IT issues that arise
 



Time commitment: small, most of the work is before the semester starts.
​The Events coordinators are responsible for planning and organising MUDC’s events. If you’ve ever been interested in event management, this role can serve as a nice introduction.
 

​
Key responsibilities include:
  • Create an event plan for each Semester
  • Organise the events for each Semester and make sure there is a committee member to setup and run the event
  • If the event involves a workshop, organise for someone to teach the workshop
 
​Time commitment: medium and constant.

General Committee x6

The General Committee is a great way to get involved without too much of a time commitment.


​The General Committee Members role is flexible, however key responsibilities can include:
  • Supervise classes
  • Film and take photographs of classes for social media content
  • Be a friendly face in classes to welcome other members
  • Help set up/run events
  • Help out with random tasks
