Intervarsity

The annual dance competition between Monash DanceSport and Melbourne University Dance Club is here! One of the biggest events that bring the sister clubs together, to compete in Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Salsa and showcases to contribute to the victory of one of the two clubs. Open to all registered members! It will be held on Thursday 6th September at Monash University, Dining hall.

Entry for dancers is $10, for one or more events.
FREE to watch for spectators!

Don't be put off if you've only just started - these things (while great to show off technique) are won by having heaps of people participate! No competition costumes are allowed, except for showcases.

The categories are as follows:

Beginners Salsa
Advanced Salsa

Bronze Latin – Cha Cha
Silver Latin – Samba
Gold/Above Latin – Rhumba and Jive

Bronze Standard – Waltz
Silver Standard – Quickstep
Gold/Above Standard – Foxtrot and Tango

Beginners Swing
Advanced Swing

Jack 'n' Jill Cha Cha
Jack 'n' Jill Swing
Jack 'n' Jill Salsa
